Before pursuing a career in the maintenance and reliability consulting field, Jodie Perry’s maintenance career with a global forest products company spanned 41 years. Coming up through the ranks as a Multi-craft Journeyman in the mechanical disciplines, his skills, abilities, and attitude created opportunities that enhanced his career path. Moving through Maintenance Planner and supervisory positions, he has held numerous positions in paper mill maintenance organizations, including Supervisor of the Maintenance Planning Department and Area Maintenance and Stores Manager. 

Because of his extensive knowledge of equipment used in the forest products manufacturing processes, maintenance and reliability best practices, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) in 1999 Jodie was asked to join the corporate Information Technology team responsible for CMMS as a project manager. This team was responsible for moving all sites from legacy computerized systems to the new corporate standard, SAP Plant Maintenance, as part of a major business process redesign project. Accepting the responsibility to manage large facility implementations, Jodie successfully led implementations in large paper manufacturing sites in the United States and 4 European countries. In 2002, he became Leader of the SAP Plant Maintenance Team, responsible for CMMS implementations, training, and support globally. Under Jodie’s management of this team, the SAP PM module was implemented in over 200 facilities in 8 countries.

As an active participant in the EAM community through multiple conferences, workshops, and knowledge sharing activities on a continuous basis, Jodie is recognized in the EAM and Reliability communities as an expert in work systems, planning and scheduling, and CMMS integration.

In 2009, Aisling Solutions Group was formed with Jodie as principal member. Jodie continues to share his wealth of knowledge and expertise with clients in a professional way that drives improvement and sustainability in all areas of Maintenance Management, Maintenance Work Systems, CMMS, practical Planning and Scheduling skills, and Key Performance Indicators.
